Sessions From the Box features intimate performances and interviews from up and coming and established artists. The show is produced and hosted by James Dineen, a radio veteran who got tired of playing what the playlist told him to. Sessions From the Box is recorded at Jambox Studios in Portland, Oregon under the watchful eye of engineer Jimi Jazz Prescott, a rock veteran who has spent the last 15 years on the road and in the studio playing bass with G. Love & Special Sauce.
